Points: 37.01 Donate | | | Need some files.... Can anyone link me to an ELF PS2 ISO? I need one to test PS2 emulation, since I am making 3.51 UE (Ultimate Edition)...I used some source from pcsx, so the ps2 emu should work....
And a question....Should I put Dark alex's recovery in the UE? Or just let people use my own.
I really hope this ps2 emulation works, took time to find pcsx2 source.

Points: 37.01 Donate | | | Sorry for the asking of the ISO Sorry for asking for the ISO...and I'm sorta making a ps2 emulator, but it's going to be on a cfw im going to make (3.51 UE) .... Its hard to make the keymaps.....thanks to acidmods the second analog stick problem is obsolete for me  but dont know what to do about L2/R2/L3/R3..... Would L - L1, R- R1,
L+R = L2, and X+R = R2? L3 and R3 arent used much, so I could leave them alone.... |

Points: 352.42 Donate | | | Ehhh... Sorry to break this to you, but PS2 emulation on the PSP will be buggy, with only the compatibility of PSCX2 (which isn't very good) and so slow it will be like watching a slide show.
PS2 emulation is only feasible on a PC with plenty of RAM (512MB minimum) and a few gigahertz processor - the PSP has 32MB of RAM and a 333 MHz processor.
We couldn't even get a fullspeed PS1 emulator even after months of trying (the one we use now is a modified version of Sony's) and N64 emulation is still not great, even over a year after development started. The PS2 is much more powerful than both of these consoles, so, even though the PSP's power is comparable to the PS2's, it simply isn't enough to get any games running at a playable speed. |
