Everything is finite boys and girls my advice is don't unless you have too. There are no specific numbers Samsung who provide the flash memory are confident of over a 1000 strangely Sony are less confident to the tenth degree but this is probably a response to people downgrading and upgrading,

Yeah, thats what I said. The MPH downgrader also has a VERY LOW percentage of a possible brick.

Jay the Cat is an idiot

Of course it flashes each time you upgrade as it replaces files in what was traditionally called the BIOS of any computer each and everytime. I will add as an afterthought that Nintendo, Sega, Microsoft and Sony themselves have had flashable memory available for years in the form of gamesaves on cartridge and then later memoy cards. My figures are based on performance from Samsung and a bit of babble from Sony (where it is unclear whether it is how many times they expect to put out a new version or how many times you should upgrade the PSP). Myself well I saved Mario Kart a thousand times over. To get back to the start of this JAY unless you have something interesting or new to say dont bother to get your counts up. I used to have a 1000 plus but have started again
