Before anything else, we need to know what firmware version your PSP is running. To find this out, go to your PSP's main menu (the XMB) and go into the Settings menu. From there, enter System Settings, and go into System Information. Your PSP's firmware will be a number between 1.00 and 3.52.

anything 3.51 or higher and you can if 3.50 or lower you stand a chance of downgrading \ playing homebrew (although 2.81-3.50 requires lumines aswell).

I think you mean, if it's 3.51 or higher then you can't.

Yes depending on which FW you have, you can run emus on your PSP. If you are refering to running N64 emu on the PSP, then it is easy if you have the right FW. Like, as stated above, you need a PSP w/ 1.00-3.50 in order to be able to run emus. As for how to run for example, a N64 emu just download Daedalus the latest one. And follow the instructions in the read-me on how to play it. But after you download the emu u want then you would put it in either the "GAME" folder or "GAME150" folder depending wether you have a custom FW installed or not. If it is just 1.5 FW the file would go into the "GAME" folder. If you have a custom FW then by default it would go in the "GAME150" folder.
