Points: 14.31 Donate | | Any Advanced PPL out there to help me with my flash1 issue? Ok here's the situation, for anyone who can or will help. . .
I did something stupid. I totally formatted my flash1 via recovery console in 3.40OE-A, thing is I formatted it in windows.... Now when i hardbooted, it just came up blank and then shut off. I then ran recovery and got myself back to 1.5!! so that's kewl, but then it said, you "must update your system software". I tried to go back to 3.40 but i got the same blank screen. Since then i can go to 1.50 and access the OS, then flash it to a homebrew with recovery (i tried a few) and it just goes blank. Only 1.5 seems to boot. Any ideas?? did I leave anything out? If this was answered elsewhere please let me know, and if there is a thread for this specific problem, i apologize!
Please help! |

1. Restore your default settings from the PSP's menu while you're on 1.5. (Settings - System Settings - Restore Default Settings).
2. If that doesn't work, take out your PSP's battery and leave it out for 5 mins.
3. If that doesn't work, when in OE, muck around with Recovery Mode, particularly the region settings.
4. When in OE, disable all plugins. |

gonna go mess with the region settings.. it lets me into the umd actually if i format the flash1 in windows again... but then it's japanese and doesn't let me into the OS without getting the multilanguage reset your settings screen. Quote:

So right now i'm in the recovery screen, just came back from 1.5 which works.
If i format flash1 in windows again, i can get it to get to the system restore screen. Then if i use flash formatter from recovery i can't unnasign it, until i let it restore the settings.... I hope that helps.
