Points: 58.77 Donate | | | HELP: 3.40 OE-A vs 1.50 homebrew woes.... I currently have 3.40 OE-A so I can play my PopStation PS1 games. I am also interesting in play my N64 games too using Daedalus (and maybe some other emulators).
When I ran Daedalus R12, Monkey 64 2.0, PSP_DOSBox, MAME4ALL then I get the message:
The game could not be started. (8002014C)
However, SNES9X 0.03A works under 3.40 OE-A but very very slow.
I downgraded to 1.50 using Dark_Alex's RECOVERY. Then Daedalus R12, Monkey 64 2.0 & MAME4ALL works. But SNES9X 0.03A gives me:
The game could not be started. (80020001)
(though MAME4ALL keeps on saying "Error: No available games found" even when I followed the instructions precisely).
Anyway, am happy with Daedalus R12 but it seems to only run under 1.50. Is there any other easier way to play PS1 PopStation games as well as Daedalus without having to downgrade/upgrade all the time? (downgrade/upgrade takes a while, plus drains lots of battery). Has anyone tried Daedalus R12 with M33 series? |

The same steps apply to 3.40 OE, if you don't want to upgrade to 3.71 M33, which has a rather complex install routine. (You need to do this: 1.50 - 3.52 M33 - 3.52 M33-4 - 3.71 M33 - 3.71 M33-2, then install the 1.50 kernel addon. That's a lot of firmwares you need to go through to get the end result.) |

Or if you have a pandora battery and memstick you can upgrade it to a 3.71m33-2 installer and transform any psp on any firmware to 3.71m33-2 instantly
