Unhappy What happened to the DevHook

I am one of those few, who still keep fighting only with the DevHook and are afraid of bricking their PSP while flashing. But there are still new games coming and the emulation of 2.71 fw with the last EZ (with a simple ultimate installer) DevHook v0.46 isnt just enough. Did DevHook die already? Arent there new versions available?

Though, to be fair, it hasn't seen any new updates for months. I think the latest one (0.52.0100) can emulate up to 3.11, not sure though. But custom firmwares have almost eradicated the need for good old Devhook; why use an app when just about all of its features are built right into the firmware? That's the belief of many users, which might be why it's not updated as much as it was.

Now there is a name I haven't seen in a long time. Both the user Hash and Dev Hook. Any way, it's really hard to brick while installing custom firmware. As long as you follow the directions you will be fine.

Ahhh....yes...good old dev-hook. Just to remind everyone, Dev-hook is (was?) not all about emulating f/w's, it was originally designed to help developers out with debugging homebrew and things that might mess with the flash. It's still a very useful app to a lot of devs out there.

I was just always afraid of messing up my PSP because I heard a couple cases where that happened to people using Dev-Hook. That was back when I was still kinda noobish and didn't know that much about the PSP and homebrew
