hi all first post so as u can guess im a noob alittle help needed just got a psp for me little brother and got home to find out its a TA-082 running firmware 2.82 just wondering if anyone could point me in the way of downgrading to 1.50 as i heard there were a few issues with these models

It should get to "loading savegame", then the screen will clear to black and fill with a light blue color, then the PSP will reset itself. Step 7. Check that HEN is running by going to "Settings", "System Settings", and "System Information". It should now be "303 HEN". If not, go back to Step 6. Step 8. Go to "Game", "Memory Stick", and run "Update x.yz". If your motherboard requires patching, it will be automatically patched, so don't worry about it. Press "X" to begin the downgrade.
(If it comes up saying that the settings are corrupt, press x to continue. Load the included NetConfigBackup application in your PSP, and select "restore", this will restore the backup of Network Config done automatically during the downgrade.) | Follow that, or if you do not have GTA LCS or it is patched, but you do have access to a 1.50/Custom Firmware PSP or you have Lumines then follow the tutorial in my signature called 'Downgrade Tutorial'

might be a real silly question but i cant upgrade to 2.00 or 2.60 as the firmware is already 2.82

thanks for the quick reply | it refers to the games update function if the Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories umd has a 2.00 firmware update on disk you can downgrade if it has 2.60 update on option is a. lumines method or b. pandora's battery.
lumines you need an old version of the game (ask a friend) and the pandora method requires someone with a homebrew psp already.
