So there's two ways to downgrade from 3.11 - - The Lumines method - easiest, requires only a copy of the original Lumines for the PSP. It must be one without the 3.51 update on it.
- The Pandora method - harder, and requires hacking a PSP battery (making it into a 'Pandora' battery) and hacking a MS of at least 128 MB (making it into a Magic Memory Stick). This requires a homebrew compatible PSP - that is, one on 1.50 or custom firmware.
To play PSX games, it's best to be on a custom firmware (but to get to a custom firmware you need to downgrade to 1.50 first), and there are several apps that can turn ISOs of PSX games, or a PSX disc, into EBOOT.PBPs readable by PSPs on custom firmwares. And as for playing ISOs... we're not allowed to discuss that, but *cough* custom firmware *cough*.
BTW, welcome back to PSP3D! |
