Is it possible to run IRShell on a PSP slim?

I tried to load IRShell with the 3.90 M33-2 on my psp slim, but I got the error 80020148. After that I tried to start IRShell with the Timemachine on the special 1.50 and on the 3.60 M33 firmware but it didnt't work. What am I doing wrong?

I got IRShell to work now. Maybe I've started the wrong version. My question is now, how do I get my gamepad to work over the usb port? I heard that this is possible when using IRShell. What kind ob usb cable/adapter do I need and what do I need to setup on my psp to get my gamepad to work?
