Lunar 2 on PSP

Hi everyone.

I own a 3.90 M-33 CFW psp and I've been trying to get Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete to play on it FOREVER!

I've had the game lying on a shelf and I thought it would be really cool to transfer the game to my psp rather than burn through yet another expensive copy of the actual game and tear the beautiful discs apart over time.

Since you can't save before you change discs, it makes it a little more difficult to transfer the full game to the PSP as well as complete it.

I've managed to get all the way through disc 1 but I don't know how to proceed any further. The save data isn't recogized.

If anyone can help me solve this problem, I would greatly appreciate it. I've been trying to solve this problem for weeks and no one has been able to help me thus far.

Thank you for your time.

Ashley

i think there are 2 solutions.....
1. use the multi disk popstation to convert all disks into a single eboot
2. i think the is a way to rename save data from first disk so second disk recognizes it. ( i remember ff7 having similiar issue)

You can also change the game ID to the same ID as the first disk. That should work. If not, if you have multiple memory sticks, put the second eboot on a different memory stick. When the game asks for Disk 2, swap the sticks. It should work as well. Post your results!

Thank you for the help.

Atm I'm trying the GUIPopstationMD. The eboot creation works perfectly, but the game data keeps coming up as corrupt no matter how many times I redo the eboot process and rewrite the image files (BIN and ISO (standard).

I read up on PSP Hacking Guide - Part 7: PSX (PSOne) Games - “PopStation” | Blast Processing
since there was a little info on corrupt data after the eboot creation, but I still haven't solved the problem. I double-checked the number of discs (3), the Game ID is of disc 1, I already deleted the old save data and since I can't even get the new eboot to load there is no save file for Lunar 2 to rename, and the icon0.png shows up.

My only problem is the message "could not read the game. Game data is corrupt."

I have already downloaded popsloader and popsdump and done the installs to run 3.71 pops since that's the only confirmed method to play the game as stated on Gamerpress.

The only time I've managed to successfully create bootable eboots was when I used .CUE image format and that was only with regular popstation creating 3individual eboots for each disc.BIN and ISO HAVE NEVER WORKED! Maybe Lunar 2 doesn't support BIN and ISO formats due to the multi track data?

Please let me know if you can help with this problem or have any suggestions as I'm willing to try them all.

Ashley

I don't really know how to solve this, but please do not discuss anything about iso, bin, or cue images on the forums.
