Thumbs up Wagic: the Homebrew

i am immensely immpressed with this piece of h/b...

Wagic: The Homebrew is a psp version of Magic: the Gathering, a card based battle game. those of you who like Magic please help support this h/b. it is in an alpha stage, however it shows much promise with continued development.

the creators name is either wololo or willow and he/she has a blog, so we can help with feedback and error reporting....

please read the enclosed readme file and the abobe file and you will be building decks and playing in no time.

I have actually tried this. I wasn't able to get it going, but I also don't have a lot of time to work on it. I can't wait for further releases. Keep us posted and nice find.

it actually is quite nice for an alpha, it does have bugs and crashes, but they seem minimal to me. i can usually play through a dozen games most of the time; the deck editor and shop feature crashes randomly so sometimes i can find what i want and other times i turn my psp back on. right now i am just doing as much play testing as i can to help (to find card errors/ play sequence errors). i have a feeling this will end up being a very polished h/b. if you check out willow/wololo's blog he has hints for adding/creating cards, cheating (adding credits, increasing card stock, etc) with word pad. also you can contribute to the buglist or make suggestions for improvement.

@dq9 what went wrong to not work? or just try to re-install. let me know, but i am sure you surpass my psp knowledge...

p.s. i actually did not find this. wololo posted on our forums in a thread about an uno request, so i followed his/her link....

p.p.s. mods can this thread be front page news?

I don't really remember what I did wrong. It was a while ago.

And make this a little more homepage news worthy and I'll put it on the homepage. By this I mean, clean up your grammar, maybe add a screen shot. You know, make it pretty

I used to love playing Magic as a teenager. Interesting take on a card-based game...
