| | | | Bricked! Using Fastloader 7 Just a warning, and with all due respect to developers out there, but I bricked my PSP using Fastloader 0.7.
Using V 1.5, I tried to dump my GTA iso. That didn't work, so I went back to loading Medieval Resurrection via fastloader, which I'd done before. This time, it bricked.
I get the green power light for about 20 secs, then shutdown. I've tried different memory cards and different UMD's with no luck.
If anyone has any suggestions, I'd be gratfeul for them. |

| | | | Thanks for the suggestions, but taking battery out and letting sit didn't do anything I'm afraid. I'm still open to suggestions. |

| | | Or you could buy a new mobo for $80-$100
My friend and I are attempting to fix a bricked psp we bought from ebay buy doing a complex rom chip swap.
We bought the new rom chip and are asking Samsung about how we can flash it. For anyone else interested, here are links to the catalog we used and the specific part.
CATALOG : http://211.45.27.232/Products/Semico...ide_050602.pdf
Specific part :
Samsung DDR SDRAM memory - K5E5658HCM-D060000 Picture here ( http://img425.imageshack.us/my.php?image=k5e9sg.png )
Be warned, it is extremely hard to desolder the old NAND chip and solder in the new one... Not for amateurs
But then again if your PSP is bricked, you dont have much to lose |

Im wondering how you plan to flash the new firmware on once the chip is in? I read in another, more serious forum about someone mapping the pinouts of the chip. I don't think all were identified. Have you verified the pin configuration is the same? I am interested in the outcome, kudos for taking the plunge on this.
