I hear that User Mode is too slow for the Emu's and that it doesn't give it the memory it needs. That's why I ask, if anyone knows, if the emulators will have smooth gameplay. Emulators such as SNES, NES and Gameboy.(Not GBA but GBC). But yea, anyone that knows about user mode and emu's can you please answer. Or just anyone at all...

Through GTA no emulators will work (for now) .. I`ve had 2.01 from the start so i don`t know if user is slower than kernel but it makes sense i guess .

Kernal is the highest mode on the PSP, then VSH, then User in the end. I know there aren't any EBOOT Loaders out through the GTA Hack yet, I'm not a n00b, I was just asking if a professional or someone who actually knows could confirm that User Mode CAN or CANNOT run emulators. The GTA Hack at v.02 stage right now. Basically useless for some of us. I'm pretty sure fanjita will release an update on it and let us download the EBOOT Loader when it's at v0.3 or v0.4.

Yeah hope so .. In the meantime maybe a better expolit with VSH or Kernel may be found .

Fanjita says it is POSSIBLE to get Kernel Mode back in the future, but he says it's a process that would take ages to crack and basically no one with a life would do it.

Yeah ..There are loads of people , even on foriegn forums who are apparently working on that stuff .. If anything will come out of it we don`t know but we can only hope

I just wish Edison Carter would work very close with Fanjita or atleast help him a bit more. Edison knows A LOT about this hack, since he made/discovered it. He could really speed up the process. If fanjita would worry JUST about developing the EBOOT Loader, and Edison developing the hack to work with the EBOOT Loader, we would get homebrew so damn fast. But Edison is a bit against this whole scene. Which sucks since the hack can run in User Mode so that means Edison should have nothing to worry since ISO's wont run in User Mode.
I wish Edison would change his mind and help us out some way...

Edison is helping out, he has nothing against the homebrew scene.

Anyway, there is nothing slow about user mode. Ask the thousands of 2.0 users who are running SNES TYL 0.2c (in user mode) at exactly the same speed as the v1.5 users (in kernel mode).

In actual fact the important parts of the emulator are running in user mode on both platforms.

GTA should be able to support emulators without any problem. It's being worked on.

Hey fanjita while your here i have a question, i have 2.6 and hello (gta) world works on it but it only works a few times e.g the first time i boot the game it will show a blackscreen and just turn the psp off, but the second or maybe third time i do it, it works do you no why that is? (im just interested lol)

EDIT: Will all emulators work?
