Just a downgrading idea, I might be wrong though.

Ok, here's my first question. Does PSPSet flash the PSP? I thought I heard it does. If it does I have another question once I get that one answered.

Oh, I thought it did. I heard it did and that if you messed up when putting a custom background on 1.5 it would brick your PSP. That's what I thought, that's why I had this other Idea..........oh well.

Oh, well my idea was that maybe PSPSet and the default background selector thing on 2.0 were pretty much the same. I think I'm wrong though...I don't think SONY would allow such a program to flash the memory.
Well my idea was this. If the background feature on 2.0 and up was the same as PSPSet and flashed the memory, maybe there would be a way to encode some type of upgrade file onto an image file or find a loop hole in the background feature.
Once again, I doubt this could work. I just started thinking about it just now and I think it's impossible, sorry to waste your time. What a pointless idea.....

Yeah, I know, that's why at the end of my post I said I doubt this idea would work. Where does the image get saved to when you select a background on 2.0 and up?
