Points: 0.19 Donate | | PSP 2.5 Information I started this thread so people could actually write ideas of theres on a Downgrade from 2.5... I know that most people don't have a clue on what to do to figure out the software, but there are some people out there who have ideas just don't know how to do it. Maybe with the ideas of people it will spark ideas in the Programmers minds to get the wheels turning on this project... also it will give people a chance to discuss what they think will happen, since no one has been giving details with the downgrader or it's process just leaving us people waiting, even contemplating about upgrading.. |

and what do u mean "everything has a bios, even if it isn't showing"? if the bios chip isnt there, then theres no bios.

"I personally think that everything has a bios, even if it isn't showing" that comment made it sound like u were unsure where it was or if it had one.

Points: 0.19 Donate | | | well sorry if i came off as a bitch, you kinda went off and was unnecessary... i'm a computer programmer, but don't specialize in the reverse engineering... if i made something then i can reverse it , but reversing someone elses work has never came naturally... i'm wondering if there is a combination or something that you have to use using the test points or buttons or something to access the software inside the psp because you know that at the factory they have to have a bios clear or something that would clear the memory for the software first install or a malfunction... |

| | Member | | | | | Whtpsp might be on to something, but hasnt it been shown that flashing the bios of a psp would be hard and expensive (the hardware way). The same method that may be found to unbrick psps could be used to flash a preferable bios on the psp. This would require lots of work and refining though for it to be a readily available mod. Maybe if its popular enough but still mildly expensive some shops might buy the machine and just charge money for then to flash your psp.
