Well movies is easy.. but to be able to download and play the games you will need to get your firmware from 2.0 as you said you have.. to 1.5.. to do this look for a "2.0 to 1.5 downgrader" this will make your psp have the old 1.5 firmware.. after you do that you will be able to use any ISO's (games, etc.)

But to get movies onto your PSP there is an excellent program that makes it easy called PSP Video 9

here is the link to their site to download the program.. it is really straight forward and easy to use, so once you get this you can start loading your memory stick with movies right away.. just so you know I would recommend getting a large memory stick for doing what you want to do.. you can find 1 GIG memory sticks on ebay for about $75 USD. So check it out..

As for playing games first downgrade your firmware once thats done successfully then come back here for more help..

BE CAREFUL WHEN DOWNGRADING AS THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO SEND AROUND BAD FILES TO BRICK (OR SCREW UP YOUR PSP)

so make sure you get it from a GOOD site or source.. I dont think psp3d.com has a downgrader of any kind up yet though..

Ok got the videos working fine. Now I got a 1GB card and Downgraded to 1.5 I DL a ISO (a torrent) is for star wars battlefront 2 is 200 something megs. is a . ISO file whats next?

I can only help you from what I know becuase I actually dont have 1.5 firmware because I cannot upgrade since I have 2.5 firmware.. so someone else who reads this thread can help you with what you need after this..

You will need to find a program called Fastloader 0.7 or optionally one called UMDemu v0.8.. I have heard Fastloader works better so try to go with that one.. U can find this program anywhere on the net.. torrents have it aswell..

It SHOULD come with a readme on how to install and operate the fastloader but basically you have to copy the ISO and fastloader program onto your memory stick.. but you also need to make specific folders for the ISO (game iso) to go in.. The fastloader readme should have all this information.. after you have loaded both on the mem stick.. then run the fastloader and boot the iso file (game)

okI got floader installed in my psp cause I can see the demo from fastloader....now where do I put the torrent..has these folders...PSP_GAME and UMD_DATA.BIN file.

okay wait.. you have 2 things from the game

a folder called PSP_GAME

and a file OUTSIDE of that folder called UMD_DATA.BIN? correct?

.. if thats right then tell me what is inside the psp_game folder if there is anything in there or not.. and what it is..

Inside the folder there should be an iso, create an iso folder in the root directory of your psp and put the iso in there. then when you launch fastloader from your ms under game it should appear in the list of games
