is it possible to maa psp wardriving app for the psp...i want one to go online at school....and see how long it takes to crack my own WEP password on my WIFI

Also, we are not going to help you crack WEP/WPA, if you don't know where to look, you don't need to know.

| | | thanks for the welcome...i joined a wile back but never really posted...anything...
well... wardriving is basically just finding a wifi connection and cracking it using some tools like...(correct me if im wrong)..ethereal kismet and other various packet gathering utilities. 
what i want to know is that if we are able to capture packets with the psp then save them then run a program( on the psp) to crack it....or even do a brute foce attack  |

i mean, fair enuf, if the guy (like some1 who lives opposite me) doesn't even SECURE his wireless, he deserves to get leeched :P but seriously, don't, its not right, and he can find out, every wireless router has an Access Table, and if he spots u, he has ur MAC address, and can block it out anyway.
My router is set to block out all but my own MAC addresses, and is 128-bit encrypted WEP, and does not broadcast its name. |
