Question Speculated TIFF Overflow for 2.01+

At first, thats only speculation, but i want to see, what you are saying to this.

Like we all know, TIFFs dont work with 2.01+.

Isnt it possible - when fanj finished working on the eboot loader - that we build our own "TIFF Viewer" and run the overflow?

Or wont this work cause it would only run in usermode?

id imagine that since the eboot loader has no kernel access (right now, anyway) that anything run by it, including a TIFF viewer, would also have no kernel access.

The point of getting an overflow or whatever in any given piece of software, is to get access to the environment in which it is running.

So, running vulnerable software in your current environment, and exploiting it, gets you nowhere - just back to your current environment.

Bottom line: just a waste of time, sorry.
