Well this thread is pointless, think about it, they made the psp, if it wasnt for the brains behind sony we would'nt be playing awesome homebrew on an awesome hand held, so yeh i guess we do.

Plus if they didnt make the psp, id be bored right now

theyre in business to make money, so i dont hate them for trying to protect thier investment.

i'm biginning to hate all big developers, like Nintendo and Sony. I preferred the early days when they were 'pure' and not seen as money-grubbing misers. Maybe i only saw it that way cos I am older now, but still...

This whole "anti-piracy" kick that all of the big developers seem to be on is wrong. They're taking the quick route out by (trying to) stop ALL emulation. This is wrong, there are many legal uses for emulation (Legal backup copies, playing of old, uncopyrighted or out-of-copyright games, playing ur favourite game for a console u own but have broken [HOW DARE YOU!], playing a game u've bought on a portable console :P).

I mean, it would be like a music company trying to ban MP3 music players and software! Imagine how crazy it would be if a company said, "We want MP3 players and PC programs banned, because they promote music piracy.", ignoring all the good uses, like buying ur CDs and putting them on MP3 players! Of course u don't attack the format, u attack the illegal users!

This is exactly what Sony and Nintendo DONT get.

Case in point: My favourite company (except for Commodore) is Sega. Now, u don't se them running around trying to stop emulation of their old software!

Like sony? LIKE? Good question, straightforward answer=no. They brought product on market we buy they rich. They f**k us with firmware, not nice, we f**k them with hacking, not nice, but a lot more fun . Besides off topic or general discussion please.
