Today I'm toying with the thougth of seylling my 2.01 and buying a 1.0 from the internet.
Any thoughts? Is there any hope left for the 2.01? Will we ever catch up to the 1.5s? Or will we have fingers pointed at us saying "I have a 1.5 and yoouu don't, nha...nha.." :P
Any Thoughts? |

| | | Dude, seriously, just have patience. It isn't going to be that long until the loader/downgrader's released. I was pondering selling then buying after christmas (I was a lucky 2.01 giga pack owner ) but I'm gonna hang in there. I went out and bought Burnout : Legends, and since then I've been playing non-stop and listening to music, tuning in on the downgrading scene daily Just wait, soon it shall happen |

The best option right now is to give me your PSP and let me mess with it trying to hardware flash the NAND chip. The most promising path right now is what team emergency exit is doing with their work on the dual flash chips. But both of those will void your warranty.
Don't give up, but you may be gray by the time it comes around.
Loaders are a different story. Eboot loaders are an almost definite in the near future for all FW. ISO's -> don't count on it for anything other than 1.0 and 1.5. Anyway, buy UMDs, ISO loaders are the reason that all you 2.XX users have limited homebrew at all.

It's just a really cool extra that I'd love to have. |

I dont use iso's so i realy dont mind haven an eboot loader, but for now making these threads are quite pointless, it wont make things happen faster |

seriosly, the more funtions they add to the firmware, the more holes they give us to work with, and gta is just ONE game that has a hole in it, we will find more holes in other games too :P
so hang in there, sooner or later Sony will release a new firmware, if they don't they put the IR on for nothing :P
i mean, they are still pluggin holes in XP, and thats like 5 yrs old :P
and hackers are still finding holes in it :P
To bad Fanjita is the only one with the knowledge to do sumthing (as far as i know), and he's got his nose far into the GTA exploit
Hang in there dude, i will | |
