How to run ISOs using UMD Emulator 8.0c without an UMD

This tutorial was made by Kazerer on PSP Crazy
Quote:
This tutorial will teach you how to run ISOs using UMD Emulator without having to have an UMD inserted in the drive. This is also useful for running games that can't be run with DevHook but work with UMD Emulator 8.0c.

1. You must have both UMD Emulator 8.0c and DevHook on your MS.
2. Run UMD Emulator 8.0c first and choose system menu in the boot options, select the ISO you wish to load and press X.
3. You should now be back in the system menu, now run DevHook.
4. Choose any ISO in DevHook and run it, it should now run the game that you selected in UMD Emulator 8.0c.

Some people might not have any UMDs, PSPs are expensive, imagine a family of 4 Kids, 2 get a PSP and 2 get a DS, do you think they want to go about getting their kids games as well? With this they dont need any, unless the Demo UMD would work then I'd use the Demo UMD.

This is actually very useful, thats the point. Look at the title of the thread, yet another directiong of what this thread means.. IF YOU WOULD RATHER INSERT A UMD GO AHEAD, but for me, I just hate always having to start my UMD and then exit. And I always get a Region code error, because Im using a Movie.

2.7 cannot run any homebrew at all. Chipping the PSP can't do anything I think. Get the motherboard replaced with a 1.5 one if you want to play ISOs.
