I know that there were people workign on trying to access the PSP through WiFI via computer. What I am wondering is if you could somehow use the file transfer method to transfer some sort of code that might be executed. Possibily find what signal / ports the PSP use then start cracking in.
Please no flamming, I was just wondering if anything in the psp is being read while it recieves a file from another psp, as maybe code could be run. |

If you are looking for a "exploit" in version 2.5, try looking in the new feature for "LocationFree" I'm sure all of you hackers will find it quite interesting once you figure out what your looking for. (i cannot tell you exactly because of fear of losing my job or getting sued by Sony)
2)All of you looking for a way to run "homebrew" on 2.0, the "expoit" you have found in the PHOTO folder is the only way (sorry for any disapointment)
3) Those of you looking for a way to run Grand Theft Auto from a Firmware lower that 2.0, there is only one way to do it, and if you look through the 2.0 Dump, I'm sure you will find the solution quite quickly. (Hint: Try looking in KD)
and:
Alright, when I said look in the 2.0 dump I meant the 17 or so megabyte files with flash0 and flash1 in them from the PHOTO "exploit" not the entire firmware. Secondly, if you want to know more about the 3.0 firmware I can only tell you a limited amount about it because of security issues. I now know that they will be running the web browser functions through the Memory Stick instead of through the RAM. And in doing this it will stop the "out of space" messages from appearing and having to delete the cookies in order to continue viewing web pages. Theres really not much else I can tell you. (P.S. just because i work for Sony doesn't mean I play by the rules | yeh.. go figure :P |

But would be good to work with tho as stated before.
