| | Junior Member | | | | | Where to start Ok... So I've been reading all about the 2.01+ homebrew scene for about 2 weeks now, and i want to help.
I don't want to develop homwbrew using fanjita's dev kit. I want to explore my PSP to the fullest.
So... Where do I start? Are there any tutorials about? How did the first firmware versions get cracked?
I'm finishing my degree in computer science but i've never done anything like this before.
Thanks for the input. |

Jaker, that link is for homebrew programming.
I'd like to mess around with exploits, try to help get that so desired kernel mode!
I just though maybe someone knew a little bit about the subject... Where to begin looking for exploits? how to expliot them?
anyone? I'd really like to get into this subject.

| | Junior Member | | | | | I already know C++!
That's not my question!
Example: How was the GTA exploit discovered? How does one decode the memdump in hello world AND does something usefull with it.
I don't need to learn languages, programming, etc... I need to learn the way not the means.
Still thankful for the replies! Keep 'em cumming! |

| | | | I am just getting into the PSP homebrew scene, as well... I have quite a bit of C/++ experience (I'm in a Software Engineering course at school -- Go figure). I was looking at the code over at scriptscribbler.com/psp, and I understand it. But what I really would like to know is how to build the and upload it... Thanks. |
