Nope. 2.6 has less then 200 kb memory left maybe 150 i dont know exactly.
And 2.0 and 2.5 has 20 mb

2.6 is fuckt but it will get an eboot loader in a couple of months

Actually 2.6 WILL have the same amount of memory, it's just that the syscalls still need to be figured out to free up the memory. So yeah, the EBOOT Loader will work just as good as it would on 2.5 and down.

You forgot to mension there is no eboot loader for 2.01+. Fanjita is working on it but if he can't, forget it.
