Exclamation PSP fault
Yesterday i downdgraded my psp from 2.0 to 1.5 everything whent smooth.

And last night i wanted to upgrade again to 2.0 so i can play Gta.
But there is something real weird going on.
When i updated there where no letters on the screen.
Fortunatly i knew the procedure and upgraded.

BUT there is one thing thats real odd.
my psp shows 2.0 features like the webrowser and theme setting etc etc.
BUT MY PSP FIRMARE VERSION IS 1.0!!!!!!
I discovered it when i tried to play GTA. it said i needed to upgrade to 2.0
and in the menu system info it says version 1.0

Does anyone know whats going on here??????

i think psp somehow got confused in the upgrading, downgrading upgrading downgrading processs. try to reformat mem stick, restore system default settings take battery out for a min put it back in an check

yeah but i don't think is the psp thats confused

I think its the eboot i used. i think its somehow a 1.0 FW with all the features of the 2.0.. i'm not home right know but i'll upload the EBOOT when i get home

Umm. This is normal.

The first step of the downgrade process tricks your PSP into thinking it's a v1.0, although it isn't really. That's why it lets you run the v1.5 update EBOOT.

Nothing exciting going on here. You'd be best to complete the process though - update to either 1.5 or 2.0 - otherwise you probably won't be able to play many games.
