| | | | Downgrading problem Hi,
I've a 1.52 psp. I thought i'd followed instructions to downgrade perfectly but I'm getting stuck, could someone please help?
This is what I've done:
I've upgraded to version 2.0 successfully. Have then copied h.bin and index.dat to the root of the memory stick. The overflow.tif went into PSP/PHOTO. The 1.50 EBOOT.PBP into the PSP/GAME/UPDATE folder (UPPERCASE UPDATE and EBOOT.PBP).
Battery full and plugged into the AC. On the PSP, browse to the overflow.tif which immediately crashes - black screen with white text along the top - All OK so far. Wait 30 seconds, switch off, switch back on again, browse to see what firmware version is now running and all it says is "version". From all the tutorials I've read should this not read 1.0?
I then try the update to ver 1.50 but just get an error saying that the game is corrupt.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. |

| | | | Hi, Thanks for the reply.
I've downloaded another 1.50 and still getting the same problem. It's a strange problem because I can't upgrade to 2.0 directly either (same error). i first have to upgrade to 1.52 from the Tiger Woods UMD, and then only to 2.0
This is really frustrating. |
