Snes roms

I tried to put the roms in every folder but it just comes up as corrupted data. Then I try to run the Emulator and says: The game could not be started(80020130). I have the Snex9xTYL-v0.2c emulator. Now there are 2 folders: v1.5_kxploit_ready and theres v1.0_unpatched, im assuming I have to use v1.5 right? I open that one and there are 2 folders again: s9xTYL% and s9xTYL. Which one do i pull the eboot and logo file from?

*NOTE: if you have a 1.5 psp system, please READ middle portion of this post

*ANOTHER NOTE: 1.51 and 1.52 PSP systems need to be updated to 2.00, then follow 2.00 instructions

*2.00 NOTE: Read the bottom-est instructions

Step 1: Get a USB Type A to Mini Type B, or a cable named for PSP usage.

Step 2: Plug it into your PSP and PC.

Step 3: On the PSP, go to Settings -> USB Connection, and push X

Step 4: If you have Windows XP, a new window will pop up, looking like this

Step 5: Open the PSP directory

Step 6: Right click in the folder, go down to New -> Folder

Step 7: Rename the New Folder to GAME

Step 8: Open the GAME folder

Step 9: Make another new folder, name does not matter

Step 10: Place the EBOOT.PBP in the new folder. If it's a emulator, then you'll also need to place all of the appropriate roms in the same folder as EBOOT.PBP, after this, the psp will have access to all folders. If you have vba psp, it's more complicated. Pm me for that.

Step 11(optional): If you have more homebrew/emulators, repeat Step 9 untill all homebrews/emulators are added

Step 12: Done! If you have a version 1.0 PSP, simply press circle to leave the USB connection, press right untill game is selected, select Memory Stick, and you'll find it. If It says "Game could not be started" then you have 1.5, read below to see how to install on that.

1.5 USERS:
1. Download this file located at http://psp-news.dcemu.co.uk/files/k...1.5_psp-dev.rar

2. It's in Spanish, so what you need to do is download any emulator/homebrew anywhere.

3. Open the file, and extract the EBOOT.PBP located inside it.

4. After installing the file mentioned in step 1, open the program.

5. Where it says "Nombre:" type down whatever you want the emulator/homebrew to be called, this does not effect the game.

6. Where it says "Fichero PBP:", click the "..." button, and locate the EBOOT.PBP file you extracted from step 3.

7. Where it says "Unidad PSP:", make sure your PSP is connected, and select the drive letter of your PSP.

8. After all that is inputted, click the "Generar ficheros" button. wait for it to finish.

9. If this is an emulator, read on, if not, you're ready to play!

10. Download roms for the emulator from any web-site which has them.

11. Put the roms in any folder of the PSP, except GBA, that has special rules.

12. Run the emu on your PSP, select one from the psp whichever folder you put the roms in. Press O to play.

12-1/2. If game/emulator does not run, you have 1.00 (see above), 1.51, or 1.52. See "*ANOTHER NOTE" at top of this page.

1.51 and 1.52 users

1. Download 2.00 upgrade, here, install, and follow 2.00 instructions

2.00 users

1. Download the Downgrader, located here and the 1.50 update, located here be WARNED dial-up users, it's 13.6MB, or ~13,600 kb, so you might want to let it go over night.

2. Create a UPDATE folder in PSP/GAME/ folder of your memory stick

3. Copy EBOOT.PBP (of the 2nd download link) into UPDATE folder

4. Unpack MPHDowngrader.zip

5. Copy overflow.tif in your PSP/PHOTO/ folder of your memory stick

6. Copy h.bin in root of your memory stick

7. Copy index.dat in root of your memory stick

8. Plug the AC adaptor.

9. Exit USB Mode

10. Enter in Photo Menu on the PSP main screen. This will launch Version Changer. (Don't ask how)

11. The PSP might or might not show a black screen with white letters, if so or not so, turn OFF (not sleep) your psp, and turn it back on.

12. Then go to Game Menu, and launch 1.50 update.

13. Once 1.50 is installed (it WILL say the update failed, don't worry), the psp will have a funky looking screen on it next boot up, hold down "O" until something happens on your psp, then reboot. now follow the 1.50 instructions in the middle of this guide.

As for roms wel try:
http://www.coolrom.com/
http://www.worldofspectrum.org/
or my site at
www.trebour.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk

As always make sure you own the orgainal game before downloadind any roms.

Also bewarned SNES emulation is very slow at the moment, so don't expect to play your fav games at full speed yet, The megadrive emulation however is excellent. Have fun and feel free to pm me if you have any problems
