He's asking what an exploit is.
Anyway, it's basically a bug(part that includes errors) that does something with the PSP. It normally just shut it down or make it hang, but sometimes we can find ways to put code in the file we used to execute the exploit where it was discovered.

in simple terms its a hole in the FW security that we take advantage of and run code through it ( HomeBrew)
