| | | | another thing..
if you connect 2 computers together you get instant access to hiden files
even if you have to kinda work at them
could it be plausable the next way to downgrade would be having your pc lend a helping hand insted of making it all psp?
sometimes when coding a code can trigger something you were never ment to see... |

If the psp had a battery it would simply set the currently loaded settings to default but of course would in no way rectify a stuffed flash. In the same way if you screw up a bios flash on a PC there is no way to fix it without reflashing that chip. What we need is a small eeprom writer, you can get the clip on kinds that simply clip over the chip for flashing. If we could get our hands on something like this we would definately be able to fix the bricked psp's. So if anyone has bricked their psp hang onto it im sure something will appear in the future. I have yet to open up the psp and look at the flash chip to check its size. If it is the one I think it is then I may well have access to the required tool. |

| | | | To The Bricked Ones If one of you guys that bricked ya PSP can open it and get me some shots of the flash chip I will check and see if we have any options to rewrite it. |

even a bricked psp may be fixable with what your planning to do. good luck |

| | | | Fix the Brick Ok I found some pictures on the net of the mainboard in the PSP from what I can see it is the chip that can be clipped and reflashed but it is not high enough res for me to be 100% sure. So if anyone has some high res pics that show the flash rom in detail please let me know. |
