| | Junior Member | | | | | Now working for me! As you will see by my earlier post, this was not working for me I was getting the Black screen and powering off. But today I got it to work!
I deleted the eboot files in the 'game' and 'savedata' folders and I also deleted the snes emulator files in the 'game' folder. I then downloaded them again, just incase they had got damaged the first time. I then copied ALL 3 eboot files (ULES00151S5, ULES00182S5 and ULUS10041S5) into the savedata folder. I then copied my GTA save off onto my computer and then back onto the PSP so it will auto load first! I then created a folder called SNES9X (All upper case) in the Game folder and put the snes eboot in it, plus a folder called ROMS (all uppercase) with my roms in, this too sits in the SNES9X folder.
When I try it, it now works for me!, so for all those who are still getting the blackscreen and power off, it may be worth a try - good luck, hope it helps someone! |

Downloading it all again and then putting it all on my PSP again, then changed the SNESx and eLoader to Read-Only and now it works everytime!
Thanks both of you who gave the suggestions that worked for me :-)
Also, not sure if it has made any difference but on the eLoader screen, try using Triangle to select the apps, maybe that works better than using X ? Probably not it could be |

| | Junior Member | | | | | This seems to be working the first time after a fresh install, but not the second. I have since noticed that after it stops working it seems to be creating duplicate eboot files when you look at the savedata via the PSP menu , but these are not visible via USB! So it works the first time, but not after! I have been deleting these extra files via the delete option on the PSP before launching the eboot again and then it seems to work, very strange, but it saves reinstalling them?
