| | Member | | | | | I'm on FW 2.6 and I am experiencing the same thing. I got super mario world to run with decent enough spped, but FFIII was way too slow. Is the emulation better when you have kernel accsess? (i'm assuming this is a yes)
Hey korhalf, are you complaing about speed on 2.6 systems or just in general?

Just do it like this:
Load a .Rom in your emulator. When the game is started push the analog stick to the left and you will come in a menu.
Use O to select and use X to exit back to the game.
Here is the setup for clocking your processor to 333 mhz in the emulator.
And you can adjust the frameskipping to in this menu. Also full screen mode, 2x size etc
This is a shortcut for frameskipping: In the game use your analog stick and move it to the top then you have some faster frameskipping. And when you move it to the bottem you can lower the frameskipping.

The eloader is in bata stages, so performance should improve with further releases. Just be thankfull that its a start and it actually runs.
If one of the other snes emu's was able to run, we'd be able to turn off a background layer or something, so less sprites and more fps
