All the good roms like Final Fantasy 3 and Doom are running wayy too freaking slow, and yes ive clocked to 333 and yes the frameskip is on, i get a solid 30 fps yet it moves slow and the music is all slow and screwed up..it's not emulating fast enough..is there anything i can do?

I'm on FW 2.6 and I am experiencing the same thing. I got super mario world to run with decent enough spped, but FFIII was way too slow. Is the emulation better when you have kernel accsess? (i'm assuming this is a yes)
Hey korhalf, are you complaing about speed on 2.6 systems or just in general?

try to run it on 333mhz and use frame skipping ( you can skip as fast as you want 0 - 10 ) it should work fine after that.

Just do it like this:

Load a .Rom in your emulator. When the game is started push the analog stick to the left and you will come in a menu.

Use O to select and use X to exit back to the game.
Here is the setup for clocking your processor to 333 mhz in the emulator.
And you can adjust the frameskipping to in this menu. Also full screen mode, 2x size etc

This is a shortcut for frameskipping: In the game use your analog stick and move it to the top then you have some faster frameskipping. And when you move it to the bottem you can lower the frameskipping.

I played Mega Man X, which would go really slow, but at Frameskip:2 and 333 MHz, it works fine, even kinda fast in some parts

you should try reading the post first, he said he'd tried both of those things.

The eloader is in bata stages, so performance should improve with further releases. Just be thankfull that its a start and it actually runs.

If one of the other snes emu's was able to run, we'd be able to turn off a background layer or something, so less sprites and more fps

tried and tried again. Any other suggestions? I would like to know if other 2.0+ users are experiencing this.

Maybe by cleaning your cache memory so that you have more memory to run this game?
