ok, right now i have only downloaded the apps/games/homebrew/emus from the "working eBOOTS" section (i choose to ONLY show the working eBOOTS)
now however, i see that there are "kernel-mode eBOOTS" and one of the main emus i can ONLY find on the "kernel-mode eBOOTS" is the DGEN emulator version 1.2
there is already a DGEN emu under the "working eBOOTS" section but that is only version 0.7
now my question is, how does the eLOADER manage to run kernel-mode eBOOTS?
i thought that it couldn't access kernel mode yet?
so does mean that the kernel mode apps found at fanjita.org do NOT work?
or do i just install them like regular apps/games/homebrew/emus found in the "working eBOOTS" section?
I'd appreciate any help i get |

|  | Member | | Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: Look behind you... | | | The ones that say they work means they work. I found that strange that Fanjita said 100% user mode and 0% kernel mode. Then I see a "Y" under kernel mode next to file assistant and it works.

and ther are reports that my beta 2 downgrader makes the eboot loader more stable and load eboots better |

Points: 0.56 Donate | | | There are two diffrent flash memories in the psp. The one is flash0 (firmware) and the other is flash1 (settings and other safe-to-edit stuff). I don't know if the term "kernel" means both of them but I have to inform you that we currently have flash1 read/write access which does not help for a downgrader. We only have read access on flash0 and we need to write on it. Maybe the applications you mentioned require flash1 access so they work!
