I was wondering wether or not to upgrade now that we have a 2.6 Eloader. My PSP is currently a 2.01 but I would like to have some of the newer firmware features, so I welcome any opinions on the matter. |

Points: 4.22 Donate | | | well, i think it depends. if you don't use that many homebrew and u do use the snes emulator u may upgrade because the snes works very nice in 2.6. |

Points: 1.29 Donate | | | generally each update sony releases, they'd be fixing holes and bugs they find in the firmware. so by upgrading to 2.6 etc you do run the risk of not being able to possibly downgrade if an exploit is found thatonly works on 2.01

But that still doesn't mean a downgrade would be bad just to have access to all the hardware or a more convenient way to load homebrew. I just wish sony would pull their heads out of their asses and open up homebrew.
