I have an idea that may sound a bit farfetched, as I am hesitant it will even be considered at all (at this point Ill do anything to experience homebrew). I just hope people aren't making it sound better than it is. Anyway, I was thinking, why not try to work WITH Sony on either a downgrader or homebrew areas. I think one of the many reasons Sony despises homebrew activities so much is the fact that there's no benefit for them; KEEP IN MIND I SAID !!!ONE OF THE REASONS!!! for those of you who love to argue and make things difficult. If we were to maybe put some kind of beneficial value to Sony as well as us, you think they might even consider something like new homebrew capabilities in an update or something?
Now dont go flamin on me cause you cant think of something right away or you think its stupid... its an IDEA! I think a lot of people would do a lot right now to downgrade their PSP's. Think about it.
One more thing-IM 13! So dont think I can do anything useful besides suggestions k? |

Black PSP V2.50
Fired Up
Ridge Racers
Wipeout Pure

Sony Japan Announces Game Yarouze Design Competition
Sony Computer Entertainment Japan has announced its Game Yarouze (Let’s Make a Game) 2006 competition, which begins on November 15. This competition, now in its 11th year, asks aspiring game designers to send in their ideas, and for those accepted, Sony will finance the project with the loan of an office and staff, and will pay cost of living and production expenses.
Previous successful games created through this process include XI [sai] (AKA Devil Dice) and the Doko Demo Issho series. This year marks the first that applicants will be able to submit ideas for PSP and PS3 titles, and both professional and amateur game designers are encouraged to apply (even existing corporations can apply).
Application is to be done through Sony Japan’s dedicated website, which will launch on the November 15. Submissions will be accepted until February 28, 2006, though the contest is only open to Japanese residents. Upon completion of the software, Sony reserves the right to put it on the market, which, for the armchair game designer, is perhaps the greatest prize of all.

| | | thats not homebrew though is it,thats some crappy homemade games, i want to play sensible soccer, cannon fodder, chrono trigger streetfighter 2 etc on my psp and then play GTA:LCS on umd when i take a long trip down to salisbury plains for training, as well as maybe watch an mp4 dvd rip off the MS rather than have a constantly spinning umd disk drain my battery in no time at all, for this reason i would also like to back up my umd games
i hate it how sony have stopped homebrew with new FW it makes my psp half as usefull to me, i cant afford to splash out on new games all the time and homebrew lets me get the best from my psp, in fact emulation is the MAIN reason i bought it, and if 2.5 cant be cracked ill keep my psp at 1.5 or buy a 2.5 psp for new games but that would suck and if that happens i will devote my life to pirating sony games just to get my own back |
