| | | | how to install dgen on a 1.5psp?
i downloaded tha latest version of dgen for fw1.5 from the official site http://syn-k.sakura.ne.jp/dgen_psp/
problem is, im not sure how to install it. the files inside the zip are not the standard dgen and dgen% style that most 1.5 homwbew comes in. its just the baisc files in one folder, inside the zip. anyone know how to go about installing this on a 1.5fw psp? |

Points: 0.56 Donate | | | every application that comes for an 1.5 psp is in that form. you put the two folders (dgen and dgen%) in your ms0:\PSP\GAME folder. Then from your PSP, you go to GAME -> Memory Stick and run it.

the problem is, this app claims to be in 1.5, but dosnt come in the folder + folder% format. its just a zip file with the bare eboot,etc.. files and no instructions about how to install it. it almost looks like the files you see for 1.0fw but claims that it works with 1.5fw |

You intsall the software, open the KXploit tool.
it'l ask for name so DGEN
it'l ask for a PBP file, click the ... button and find your eboot.pbp of dgen
then psp unit, is the drive that the memory stick is on
then just click generate files

Points: 0.56 Donate | | | I know a better one. It is called SeiPSPTool and it can do much more that the kXploit tool. Firstly, it doesn't changes the background and the icon of the application. Secondly, it can hide the "Corrupted data" icon from everything you install or have installed on your PSP and Third and last, you can customize every component in the pbp you install, from Param.sfo to data.psar. Another think it does is that it can reverse 1.5 eboots to 1.0 version!
Have you heard of it kernal32? Cause I think that either people don't know it or its something wrong with it and nobady uses it...
