WHy would there be no PSP if they supported Homebrew. If they supported it they would increase sales. The option to run PDA like programs is a feature that every1 wants. I work at Circuit City and if they supported more apps you would have more of the adults buying a PSP, and they are the group that have the money for a PSP. Many of the adults come in and shy away from it because it doesn't have the extra features that they want. If sony Supported homebrew they would open up jobs for coders. Nothing against the coders now for PSP but I believe they should get paid for all the hard work they put in. Supporting Homebrew would make that a reality.

I think Sony is more worried about the games rather than the actual features, being that it now has a web browser and, if were lucky, much more features with new firmware upadates.

I agree. I am all for buying your own games. Nothing against people who use ISo's but I could Downgrade to 1.5 and use the games that I want to play but I don't. I have two kids and a house payment and not a high paying job and I can afford all my own games. More apps would appeal to a wider audience.

Yeah, this is true. Having the ability to run other things would be nice..but I would never agree with allowing an ISO loader to be able to be used...if I was Sony. That is when sales take a hit because every "claims" that they want to play their "legit" Iso so they dont have to carry discs around blah blah. Other than that, its not like if i didnt have a snes emulator on my psp, I'd go buy games that I already wouldnt buy. Most people I know have sold their psps because most of the games are garbage. I bought my PSP because i read in a gamepro article that it could run roms, so if that's not a good enough sales pitch, I don't know what is.
