i dont take credit for this ok and it workz i have FW 1.50 and the DEMO UMD you get when buying a PSP and i downgraded to FW 1.50 and the UMD didnt work so i just tryed this trick and the UMD that didn load on FW 1.50 just worked plz try this on GTA:LCS

I was messing around trying to get frickin' Harry Potter & TGOF ISO too boot and not randomly crash, when I accidentally ran across this little trick. I have used the 2.0 FW upgrade to play my LOTR - Tactics that I bought. Well, I used the MPH Downgrader to go back to 1.5 & I never deleted all the files that MPH leaves behind on the MS Root. Then, by accident, trying to get Harry Potter to work. I came across this trick.The funny thing is, that I had deleted all the files that MPH left behind not knowing that they were what made this trick work and I have been racking my brains for 5 hours trying to figure out what the heck I did to make it boot the first time!

Will someone please test this theory out for me? I deleted them again and it would not boot, but I threw the files back on my MS and it boots fine! Also if someone has GTA - LCS UMD will you please use MPH to downgrade to 1.5 and try these files out and see if it will boot also? If it does, please post and let me know so I can go buy it!



Instructions:

1.) First of all make sure you are using firmware 1.5 on your PSP.

2.) Load your LOTR - Tactics UMD Disc

3.) Throw the files in the MS Root folder on the root of your MS.

4.) Execute the Devhook v0.22.

5.) Under "UMD SELECT"
highlight "UMD Disc" and press the circle button.

6.) Then under "BOOT SELECT"
highlight "UMD GAME" and press circle.

Takes a few minutes to load. If the files I have in the folder are all correct it should boot your LOTR - Tactics without having to upgrade to 2.0!
