faking update
i'd like to know if the following could work or might have been tried:

get the 2.0 or earlier eboot.pbp and open it via an hexadecimal editor.
then replace all 2.0 by 2.6 and run the update on a 2.01 psp.

i think that doesn't work, and i don't want to test that on my own psp fearing breaking it. So i ask if this have been tried
