Snes can u swap over buttons and joystick??

Hey just wondering if it was possible to swap over the controls so that you can use the analogue joystick instead of the control pad for snes games.

Reason for this is when you play streetfighter II on snes, its real hard to do the moves using the key pad, and i reckon it would be easier to do it with analogue joystick.

is it possible?
thanks

Mate wouldnt it be easier to look through the menus yourself rather than wait for someone to answer?!

I've only used uo_snes9x (as far as i know this is the only one that works for 2.01 and up) and you can indeed change the buttons and control stick. It's under "Key config" or something like that...
