| | | | Has anyone tried building a modchip yet? Ive been wondering because it would make modding a lot easier. Especially if the chip could be something as simple as adding a switch and an extra bios to load the 1.5 or earlier firmware. Does anyone think this will be accomplished ever? |

Im sure people are yeah, looking into it and when somethings out we'll hear, but nothing but fakes and rumors out atm

| | | | Well if anyone is currently trying, i hope that they try building a new case that has a specific area for the modchip to sit in one of the grips. Preferably the one closest the the main section of the motherboard. That would then give them the ability to have the modchip behind all the electronics and buttons so they dont need to try and cram the chip between the buttons and the motherboard. Only time will tell i guess. |

It would depend on the features of the modchip of course.

Think of a modchip with 1.5 firmware loaded on it and a booting system witch will allow you to load the modchip 1.5 firmware or your systems one! It might also give you the ability to restore 1.5 version on the PSPs flash if its bricked! I think this is much more safe and combines homebrew and compatibility with the new games!
But this is just how I imagine it! Time will show!
