you dont really need a wi-fi sniffer, just make a connection called hotspot or whatever and keep scanning with that.

Did you read the differences between sniffer and scanner? NO PSP connection is going to sniff anything - It HAS to be homebrew coded!

WEP cracking would take forever on the PSP to process. Yes, it could be done, but you could probably walk somewhere else that does have wifi by the time that it would get the WEP code. You would be better off just asking the IT guy at your school to give you the code (although I doubt he/she would give it to you as it would be a security risk).

Seriously though, cracking a WEP code takes a long time, even with a full-sized, up-to-date computer.
