ok now I think nobody will try to downgrade the 2.01 only the 2.50, so can I just go ahead?
It's just that I have the PSP sittin there and I want to do something with it, it's stoopid not beaing able to play any homebrew on it, I wanted to play beneath a steel sky and monkey island and all those cool old games with the scummV psp emu.......damn.

I still believe 2.01 is the way to go, in terms of downgrading. I think a 2.01 downgrader is entirely possible, whilst a 2.5 isn't proven to be possible.

Instead of giving up hope, try supporting the people trying to get a 2.01 downgrader made.

You're one of the many people who still have 2.01, I suggest you dont upgrade, for if a 2.01 downgrader is possible, you can just downgrade, and a 2.5 one, you can always upgrade, and then downgrade.

You'll hate yourself if you upgraded now, and a 2.01 downgrader becomes available.

The most important thing is not the fucking downgrader its the possibility to play e.g. GTA LCS on FW 2.00 with a Fastloader!!!

Ok then I'll keep 2.01, and hurry up with a downgrader before I get the feeling of buying an older PSP, U got my full support cause this right now sucks and I'm really mad that I don't have the knowladge to do anything.
