Unhappy Give recomendation for Doom on Ale eloader

greetings psp aficionados; i really would like to play doom/heretic on my 2.01 psp. i am having difficulty figuring out how to do this. i have current eloader(ale) and beta version. i have been experimenting with different ways on the GAME directory( i read the included readme file) and using different eboots and program versions. i also need advice on the alex mae single pixel fixer.(stuck pixels suck) I have been successful using SNES emulator Uo_SNES9x 0.02y32, with varying rom results (some work better w/ adjustments than others). I don't mind being a guinea pig; i just need some help or a good reference text.

(even the martians are jealous of our psps)

Apparently it can be done, but i have a 1.5 so dont use homebrew on my 2.01

Try reading the readme file

You need the files from doom etc to do it tho

Doom works fine on the new eloader using 2.01 FW. Just get this version of the emu:
http://dl.qj.net/index.php/pg/12/fid...=636&catid=195

Goto the FW15 dir and copy the doom folder to your PSP game folder. Stick a doom wad in the wads folder. Shareware will do. And load through fanjitas eloader. Loaded first time for me, no probs!. Full sound, and runs beautifully!

Strike 2 for me

Ok, i wasn't as successful as i thought. I need to learn the placement of the wad files via the doom loader screen. Just ne old wads? or do i have to have basic wad and then pwads loaded (pwads optional, i noticed). i think i may need to find doomI (1) wads, or figure out where the doom 2 wads go. Ugg.... all i want to do is doom, doom, doom. Please advise more thoroughly. Thanks
