He claims to have found a 2.0 game on 1.5 PSP 'hack', and it sounds pretty legit to me. Unfortunate for me, my PSP is currently bricked, so I need some people to test his process out. This is a 100% safe process, and involves no flashing and such, therefore, no bricking is possible.
Here is what he said in his email:
"This is TallLittleElf and I'm glad to present a way to play 2.0 REQUIRED GAMES on a v1.5 PSP. It's quite simple, and I have tested it with the UMD game Infected. What you do is open up File Assistant (preferably 1.0) and go to UMD. Then go to PSP_GAME/SYSDIR/ then load BOOT.BIN. It will load the built in UMD loader, which it will take about a 30 seconds for the game to actually being loading. IT WILL LOAD. I GAURANTEE THIS WILL WORK. Hopefully this will work with GTA Liberty Stories. I am fairly sure you can do the same thing with all the files copied to your memory stick. I will get back soon with info on that." |
