By 'got it to work pretty well' - do you mean:

a) I can crash my psp reliably

or

b) I can demonstrably run code on it?

If it's (a) you probably don't even have an exploit, let alone a downgrader.

If it's (b), then sure, I'll take a look at it for you.

I got the PM, and looked over the process. It seems reasonable, but I'd say it's pretty damn sketch (considering you've bricked your PSP now). Unfortunately, my PSP is bricked, so we're gonna need to find some other testers. Anyone that DOES test it should get it on video, or we're not gonna proove anything. I'll find someone to test it soon.

It doesn't prove anything, I know, I seem like some idiot or something, but I'm not asking for anything but the people who have the steps to go ahead and try it at their own will.

I didn't want to come screaming out of my room going HEY GUYS I DOWNGRADED, I want this to come slowly and with proof so I don't come off as a moron.

I see some problems with it, such as the PSP closes USB connections when you exit USB mode (but is that executed when the psp thinks it's not plugged in?)

It worked ONCE, downgraded ONCE, didn't try to run homebrew or do anything, just upgraded back to 2.5 again, where, upon trying it again, I bricked my psp. I want to leave it at that, if people can test and verify JUST the USB part working (like it did for me), then we can work from there (with the USB exploit)
