Points: 1.32 Donate | | read this if your GBAPSP 1.1 not work and if loading ROMs keeps shutting off your PSP ok, fanjita just released ANOTHER patch for the eLOADER and basically, the reason your GBAPSP 1.1 does NOT work is because the config file of the eLOADER was missing a line of code
that line of code is the following:
["GBA"_3CDC9026]
#************************************************* ************************#
#* PSP GBA 1.1 *#
#************************************************* ************************#
ebootname=GBA 1.1
patchkernelwarning=Y
now there are 2 ways to get your GBA to start working
1. simply download the newest patch at fanjita.org and read the readme on how to install the newest patch
OR
2. go to ms0:PSP/eLOADER, where you'll find a file called "loader095" and it's a CFG file. Open that file with NOTEPAD, and copy the code i gave you above into the notepad (all the way at the bottom under everything else you will see).
also, in the top part of the loader095.cfg file, there will be a section named:
################################################## #############################
# Default loader behaviour #
# #
# These can all be overridden on a per-EBOOT basis in later sections #
################################################## #############################
at the bottom of this section, there will be something called "callExitCallback=N". REPLACE that with "callExitCallback=Y". (change the N to a Y)
now your GBAPSP 1.1 will work
NOT the GBA 0.01
hope this helps

well, it's the same issue
you can 1. download newest patch from fanjita.org or copy this code:
["SCUMMVM-PSP"_3D39BEC6]
#************************ ************************* ************************#
#* SCUMMVM 0.8.2 *#
#************************ ************************* ************************#
ebootname=Scummvm 0.8.2
patchkernelwarning=Y
once again, place this copied code onto the bottom section of your loader095.cfg file (using NOTEPAD) |

100% sure
as the eLOADER itself has no way of accessing the flash of the PSP
besides, you're just adding a couple lines of coding |
