After succesfully loading Gta with the mph loader I decided to give socom a shot, firstly using an original iso:- loader states loading game, screen goes blank and after a short while psp shuts down. So tried decrypting prx (although socom was created before 2.00) Firstly I had to I had to rename the prx file to prx_2.0 and its sub folders in order for the dycrpter to work, as with gta the decrypter created .dcr files.
To cut a long story short the game loads as it does with previous loaders as far as the at loading campaign screen goes

wondering if anyone else has had any luck

this prolly means that a certain 2.0 feature wasnt loaded correctly or at all. i would talk this up with the crew at mph's site.

No campaign is the only thing you can start with I believe, havent tried multiplayer though thing ill see if that works now

The only problem is that SOCOM isnt a 2.0 Firmware game I believe it is a 1.52 game that for some reason never worked as an iso much the same as World Soccer didn't. Would be great if someone found a solution though SOCOM looks awesome. Hats off to the lot over at Mph though!! Gta at last :-D Now my brother with his 2.01 PSP has nothing on me hahaha!!

hmm....its only 1.52? i would still talk it over with the mph crew. they could prolly help, or release a fix.
