They aren't creating a "downgrader" in the sense of a program, but they are going to reflash the NAND chips of the PSP. Theoretically, this is very possible, since computers' BIOS' can be reflashed the same way. This means that if you want a 1.5 from your 2.6, you will have to send your PSP to them, have it flashed, pay a cost and pay for shipping, and then you will have a voided warranty. Traviss, I hope you get this to work, but I'm guessing this is a while off, since you just received the hardware?
SO to answer people's question's, this is NOT a modchip, and will not require any soldering. This means that you don't have to worry about your PSP getting fucked up in the process. The least that can happen is they won't be able to flash it, and they will send it back to you.
The flasher is a machine that would connect 2 PSP's, and flash the NAND from one PSP to the other PSP, giving you 2 identical PSP firmwares. Corect me if I'm wrong traviss.

Points: 1.55 Donate | | Even if this does work (and congradualtions if it does) I think it would be somewhat of a hastle to send your psp to people that you dont even know, pay shipping and handling, and even then have a chance of this not working. But, it is good for you guys who have this thing and can do it to your own psps. Keep up the good work
