Points: 41.37 Donate | | | Lua Pleyer No script WEll, I didnt find an answer on search, so please dont flame...
I installed lua player 0.14 on my 2.6, loaded brown ale...YAY its works!!! Even Played a game (pspgolf)
So, I decides to make my own levels. I make he files, put them on in the right folder, and then I get the No script found screen. Odd, I thinks, because this worked before. Must be something I did. Take off my files.
No script found screen. Odd, I thinks, because this worked before. So I delete the lua player and install it again.
No script found screen.
So now Im annoyed, confused, drunk and tired. Please help!!! |

Well, I cant see what I can possibly have done wrong, the lua player wont load even without the game I downloaded, nevermind my own files! |

So jsut try a few of them out and see how they work for you. As for myself, I still havn't gotten it to work  But I havn't given up either

Points: 41.37 Donate | | Well, dont give up, I know for sure that it works on 2.6
I might go through the archives and dig up older version. Whilst compatability with apps and games suffers with each downgrade, compatability with 2.01+ increases. Its finding the highest possible reliable version that will work consistantly on the firmware.
Im starting to feel that old sense that it was a combination of voodoo and good old fasioned luck that got it to work, just like with the old eloader... ahh the memories of booting gta for most of my day...
just found a source saying that loading other homebrew before loading lua player is the key. Well it didnt work yet, but Im gonna rig my old 32mb card up for homebrew and report back.
