when i use mph it just goes on the loading screen then stops and shutsdown.

Hey dude hope I can help, I had a similar problem:- what I did wrong was use a standard Socom Iso but what you need to do is decrypt the prx on the iso with decrypter prx then create a new iso. You must also use an already created profile as you cant create a new one the game will freeze. Hope this helps

I also had an issue with the iso dump being wrong the first time for some reason. I had to dump it a couple times for it to work.

A VERY basic guide on doing this for gta (works the same as other 2.0 games except u copy a diff folder to the psp for the diff game) can be found HERE

For Socom, all you have to do is copy the prx folder from another 1.5 game and replace the prx folder in Socom. Then create an ISO and you're done.

You don't have to use 'decrypter prx' for this.
